Cowboys Run All Over The Rams, Win Big 31-7

Sep 22, 2013; Arlington, TX, USA; Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware (94) reacts to getting a record setting sack against the St. Louis Rams at AT

The Cowboys came into this game vowing to run the football and that is exactly what they did.  Demarco Murray had a huge game, consistently pulling off big runs.  Romo continued his consistent play and has yet to throw an interception this season.

The Rams had yet to allow a sack this season but the Cowboys pressured him all day. Demarcus Ware and Jason Hatcher were in the backfield all game long.  The defense was once again able to stop the run and prevent big plays in the passing game.  Sam Bradford was sacked 6 times and hurried constantly.

This defense seems to be finding its stride and has gotten better each week this season.  The line has been tremendous and they dominated this game.  Barry Church and JJ Wilcox made a really good duo at safety in this game.  That is a huge bonus for this defense.  They should only get better together as the season rolls along.

On offense they were able to put the ball into the end zone and keep this game out of reach.  Romo made great decisions and really had a flawless game. It appears the Cowboys have a bit of home-feild advantage for the first time in a long time.

Game Ball:  Monte Kiffin and Rod Marinelli, these two have made a huge difference on this defense.  The whole unit plays with passion and hustle, there are always several Cowboys around the ball.  They continue to make big plays, once again stripping a ball loose.
