Only 3 games remain in the Texas Ranger’s 2013 regular season. These last 3 games decide if they make the playoffs as a Wild Card or go home early. The division has been long lost – that much is settled – but a Wild Card spot remains and the Cleveland Indians currently own it.
This weekend could be the end of our Texas Rangers. They are a game behind the Cleveland Indians with one weekend remaining. It probably goes without saying but the Texas Rangers NEED to win every single game to keep hopes alive. In addition they NEED Cleveland to lose a game to force a tiebreaker for the final Wild Card spot.
The Rangers are playing great ball right now and everything is on the line. If you are ever going to watch Rangers baseball now is the time. Every game, every inning, every pitch…means everything.

Following a summer of losing, FC Dallas has an opportunity to break even in the month of September. After losing to the New York Red Bulls last week FC Dallas has a September record of 1-2. On Sunday night they face the Columbus Crew and look to end September on a good note…or at least a mediocre note.

The Battle for the Iron Skillet against the two most prominent DFW teams takes place this weekend. Both teams are desperate for wins as they enter this game with equal 1-2 records. The SMU passing game matches up perfectly with the TCU secondary as both units are the strength of their respective teams.

Did the Cowboys turn the corner and become a good team or are we in store for another season of average? The Dallas Cowboys have a chance to answer this question on Sunday. The Cowboys have notoriously disappointed fans after big wins so it’ll be up to them to mentally overcome their history and execute assignments against an inferior team.
The Chargers are beaten and bruised. They aren’t talentless but they are much damaged. The Cowboys have started clicking on both the offensive and defensive lines. The passing game will always be good and the pass coverage will always be a work in progress. Once again, this will come down to the play in the trenches.
