Dallas Cowboy's QB Tony Romo The Villian Again

Oct 6, 2013; Arlington, TX, USA; Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo (9) scrambles in the second quarter against the Denver Broncos at AT

When looking through the various websites to see what all the “experts” thought about the Cowboys game I was very dissapointed, but I was not surprised.  I couldn’t beleive the b.s. I was reading.  It was all of the same old Romo talk going on, it’s like somebody writes an article and then all the other clowns just copy it.  What a joke, Romo played an MVP type of game.

Anybody else under center and the Cowboys get blown away, Tony Romo continually made plays to keep them in this game.  He made plays with his feet moving around in the pocket and he certainly made plays with his arm.  He fought through a Dez Bryants fumble and another hoard of penalties.

His defense didn’t do him any favours although they did put the offense in postion to have a chance to win it at the end.  The line gave Romo good protection most of the game but on the potential game winning drive they gave up a sack on first down.  On second down Romo was pressured again and threw the game sealing interception.

Sure the interception stings but without Romo this game is over in the first quarter.  This was the best team in football that the Cowboys almost beat and the second best team is not even that close.  The Cowboys almost had this one and they atleast got the offense rolling.

Jason Witten had a stellar game making some crucial tough catches that I thought he was incapable of making.  Terrance Willams was a force and showed that he has a place in this league.  Dez Bryant had another great game and the offensive line played well.  There are more posotives to take from this loss than there are negatives.

The defence is another story, they have been brutally exposed this season and it appears that Kiffin may not have an answer.  The move to replace Rob Ryan seems like a mistake at this point.  I did not have a problem with the Cowboys switching to the 4-3, I just dont like the Tampa-2.  The Cowboys do not have zone corners and this system seems to be taking away from the linebackers strengths.  These defenders are not reading and reacting, they are thinking too much and getting burned in the process.

The Cowboys can build on this game, but they have to do just that.  These next two games against division foes will go along way in defining this season.
