Desperate Cowboys Have To Find a Way To Beat The Giants

The Dallas Cowboys played some pretty ugly football in the weeks before the bye. Their offense and defense were both inconsistent to say the least. With a week off and a chance to get healthier we will find out if they can right the ship. My intuition tells me that they can not and that they will flounder down the stretch once more.

Dallas has a tough match-up against the New York Giants on Sunday and if they lose this game, well that could be quite the dagger. This is pretty much a must win game for both teams who are struggling to try and make the playoffs. I realize that the Cowboys are just a half game out of first in the East but a loss here would all but finish them.

The Cowboys still have several tough games left on the sced so they desperately need to find their rhythm on both sides of the ball. This lackluster team that has been hitting the field as of late has to disappear and play competitive, aggressive ball from here on out. Other wise it will be just the same old Cowboys except it wont be the 8-8 Cowboys, it will be the 6-10 or 7-9 Cowboys. If anyone besides Tony Romo is interested in working at the Ranch next year then they need to act now.

There is no room to stumble here for this team. They wiped out any slack that they could have had with dumb losses to the Chiefs, Broncos, and the Lions. From here on out they have to play their best EVERY SINGLE GAME. The defense looks un-fixable so the offense MUST improve. There is no chance of the Cowboys winning two of their remaining games if the offense does not carry the load.

They have a ton of weapons and no more excuses, they have to find a way to beat the Giants…

I agree with you about them losing this game & that they will flounder down the stretch. And I’m also with you about no more excuses about injuries & whatever else.
And it’s rather simple as to why… Teams like Dallas, who don’t win must win games, always find ways to lose these types of games and always seem to end up playing teams who are in the right place at the right time against Dallas… The Giants have been there and done that. Games like this don’t phase the Giants. Unlike Dallas, they don’t feel the pressure of the moment & certainly aren’t afraid of anything Dallas has to offer.
And Dallas has this, play not to lose mentality. Where as the Giants have a, win at any cost, no matter what.

Now, while I do have some hope, because of key players returning from injury, I don’t believe it will beeenough when it’s all said and done.
