Clutch Romo Leads Cowboys To Victory Over The Giants 24-21

As expected this was a tight game by two teams who could ill-afford a loss today. Both teams played sloppy ball, with both teams hitting double digits in the penalty department. The struggling Cowboys Defense held their own against the pass, the Giants were able to run the ball well all game long.

The Cowboys were also able to run the ball but they continued their unbalanced ways. Dez Bryant had good numbers at the end of this one but he made several mistakes that almost cost the Cowboys the win. He had some drops early on and he tipped a pass that was intercepted by the Giants.

The Giants tied the game at 21 with over 3 minutes left in the game after converting a 2-point conversion. On the ensuing drive Tony Romo played extremely well hitting a huge third down pass to Dez Bryant for 18 yards. Romo hit another huge third down play to Cole Beasly and then the sealing pass to Miles Austin.

Game Ball: Tony Romo played well in this game and they put the win on his shoulders on the final drive. The Dallas Defense deserves a chunk of that game ball as well.

Game Notes:

- The Cowboys are struggling mightily at the Safety position, Jeff Heath needs to be removed from the field

- Ronald Leary had a bad game, he had a couple of penalties and he allowed some pressure on Romo

- Dez Bryant almost cost this team the win, he made several mistakes but he somewhat atoned on the final drive

- Orlando Scandrick has continued his strong season

This one could have gone either way. As long as the Cowboys stay with O. Scandrick at DB we will be OK. Claiborne is a Puss and can’t cover. In the off season package Claiborne, Austin and Murray for A. Peterson! All these guys are worthless, cost money and take up roster spots – we can utilize these to get good players. We are only a couple of players away from a SB winning team. Trade these bums and draft OL & DL players and it’s just a matter of time till we hit greatness again and stay there.
