Newly Added CB Sterling Moore will make an Immediate Difference for the Dallas Cowboys

Stop me if you heard this one… “Morris Claiborne is injured and will not be available this week.”

Unfortunately Morris, the disappointing second year 1st round draft pick, has found himself injured once again. And we wonder why he struggles with his coverage assignments… Lost in the practice squad shuffle was Sport DFW favorite, Micah Pellerin (more on Micah tomorrow). When Claiborne came up lame again this week the Cowboys were forced to go back to well and found familier face, Sterling Moore.

“He’s come in and played well for us on short notice. Sterling had a good training camp for us… We like him and he’s been a guy who has stepped in and played well on a few different occasions for us. We’re excited to get him back.” Said Jason Garrett on Monday

Sterling Moore could be immediately involved with the Cowboys’ plans. The clueless BW Webb runs around, almost aimlessly, and it’s not a reach to think Moore instantly jumps Webb on the unofficial depth chart. In addition, Moore can play FS in a pinch and is a very solid contributor on Special Teams. There is a very good chance Moore stays around for the remainder of the season and becomes a solid contributor to the Dallas Cowboys’ playoff run.
