The stakes do not get much higher at this point in the season, both of these teams need this game in a really bad way. The Cowboys are trying to keep pace with the Eagles, with whom they are currently tied with for the division lead. The Bears are trying to catch up to the Detroit Lions who have a slim lead in the North. It is unclear if Jay Cutler will start this weekend but Josh Mccown has stepped in and played well coming off of the bench. For the Cowboys, they will see the return of their stud Middle Linebacker, Sean Lee.

The Cowboys should be well rested and they should be as healthy as they have been in quite some time. The Bears have lost 3 out of their last 4 games and need start winning or else they will be watching the playoffs from the couch. Chicago has played well offensively but they have had some struggles on defense, especially against the run. Monday night figures to be a cold one in Chicago, so Dallas would be well-served to stick to the run. It seems if the Cowboys do not have any early success with the run that they abandon it early on in the ball game, they must stay patient with it against the Bears.

The Cowboys face a huge challenge on the defensive side of the ball. Alshon Jeffery, Brandon Marshall, and Matt Forte present a lot of problems for Dallas. It will be interesting to see if Jeff Heath continues to get as much playing time as in recent weeks. Heath and Ernie Sims have played horrible football whenever they see the field. Dallas needs to play smart and be in position or else they will get lit up by this Chicago offense.

The Cowboys have to realize what is in front of them and take control of their fate. They can not afford to stumble against the Bears or they will most likely have to win out, and they still have some pretty tough customers to deal with.

Key Cowboy: From here on-out Tony Romo is the man for this team. He has to find a way to make the plays that need to be made. The throwing conditions might not be ideal on Monday night, so has to be careful but he also has to take his shots.

Prediction: The Cowboys MUST find a way to leave Chicago with a win, The Dallas Cowboys beat the Chicago Bears 24-13 behind a strong defensive outing.
