Monte Kiffin's Cover 0 Defense Loses in Chicago

What a pathetic showing. I just don’t know how else to put it. Every time the Bears got the ball they scored. Dallas ran the ball well. Other than that I am not sure what else they did I can highlight. A few weeks ago Jerry Jones said he was doing his best work as a GM. If he wants to prove that he should fire Monte Kiffin before he even gets on the plane. Sure this defense has had injuries, but there is no pass rush, no ball skills in the secondary, nothing. It is almost like watching 22 players on offense.

So first the good. Tony Romo did not turn over the ball and played pretty well with 3 TDs. Granted he only compiled 104 yards, but the run game was moving the ball. DeMarco Murray ran the ball spectacularly and the offensive line did its job. They could use a little better blitz pickup, but the offense was not the problem.

Now the bad.

The whole defense. Everyone. The tackling was awful. There was no pass rush to be found. I could count on one hand the challenged catches. It was terrible. It was so bad I am not even going to make a list of good and bad this week, the bad would be far too long. I am ashamed to watch this defense as I am sure many fans are. How can anyone defend this defense? Jerry Jones, Jason Garrett, Monte Kiffin, no one should sugar coat this. This might be the worst defense I have ever seen or even heard of existing in the NFL.

So I will put a song up, something appropriate to define this defense. Pink Floyd – Comfortably Numb….Hello, is there anybody in there?
