It is no secret that the Dallas Cowboys have a bunch of needs that must be filled. With Jason Garrett at helm for the past few years, the Cowboys have seemed to draft much better than years past. But, there are still many times where the Cowboys miss big-time on a player. Guys like B.W. Webb, David Arkin, Caleb McSurdy, and Josh Thomas have made little impact, if any, on this team. In this article, I will name 5 small-school players who have the uncanny potential to be something special in the NFL.

    Do not seek the treasure.
    It’s a trap.
Any other cliches you all can think of to keep Jerry away from the small school busts?

Great piece, I was hoping to see Pierre Desir on here, and sure enough he was your first (also very happy to see Caraun Reid). I would be cautious with Desir, however, because he looks like a physical guy but is playing against small competition. One could still develop excellent skills playing against weaker competition, but when a player from a small school is touted for physicality, it’s important to remember that he’s not going against as many NFL-type bodies. I still would like to give him a shot, but not sure I’d consider anything before the 3rd round
