Personally, I wouldn’t make this pick, but I’m not Jerry Jones. Instead of upgrading in the trenches, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Jerry Jones take a “sexy pick”. The Cowboys did the same thing in 2012 with Morris Claiborne, and that experiment hasn’t worked out yet. Although this wouldn’t be my selection, it wouldn’t be a bad pick by any means. Calvin Pryor plays with a swagger in the defensive backfield that I love. He needs to improve against receivers in coverage, but he makes his presence felt in games. J.J. Wilcox and Jeff Heath were incompetent in 2013, but Wilcox deserves a second chance. I would personally take Aaron Donald or Zack Martin here, but I can’t see Jerry going the conservative route.
