    No thanks to Jernigan. The Cowboys will not draft a 1 tech with the 16th pick. The D-line will rotate 8 to 9 guys. So its probably not a good idea to draft D-lineman with the 16th pick when they have enormous needs at other positions. If they traded back and got a Kony then maybe. Or if Barr was there at 16 then I would not mind that at all. But the best value for DE’s is in the 2nd round with Crichton, Tuitt, Murphy etc..The two positions of need with the best value in the 1st round is OT if Martin is there or FS if Dix or Pryor is there. Also Jernigan has motor questions. That is another reason for concern for taking him at 16.

    I think Dallas would go Barr over Jernigan. Outside of the strength difference, Anthony looks like the best bet to match what Ware did for us. However, I’ve really leaned lately towards getting Martin or Lewan ( Zack is more likely ) in the first, and then going back to back on D Line in the second and third.
