Even after the signing of Henry Melton in free agency, the Dallas Cowboys are in the market for defensive linemen. The Cowboys have holes at the defensive tackle and end position. It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Cowboys draft a defensive linemen in the first round of this year’s NFL Draft. This draft class is loaded with defensive tackles, and Dallas could easily find some impact players in the second or third round. In this article, I will name five players who Dallas might like on day two.

Don’t know about Easley. It’s one thing to have a player like Crawford get injured and hope he comes back – quite another to draft a player with a known history like Lee and susequently watch him miss games every season – particularly when he’s drafted in the first or second round. Haven’t we had enough of that?

Definitely a good point. There are definitely risks in drafting a player like this. But Dallas, although we know they’re not, is win-now mode. Taking risks is necessary. Thanks for reading and commenting!

ACL’s on both legs. Ouch !!! I like DE Crichton in the 2nd round.

I think a couple of those guys will be gone in the 3rd round or so. I like Bromely or Uko in the 5th round or so if they can swing it. But I think drafting a DT any earlier is not wise with all of the other huge needs on the team.

OLB, DE, WR, OT are also needs besides DT. Can’t forget depth guys too.

I am all for them drafting everyone of those positions. I am just saying I would not draft DT until later since theyt have already signed two FA’s to help there. Dont forget Bass and Crawford coming back from injuries as well. i really dont see the need to go DT unless some guy falls to them in the 5th round or so.

I love the versatility of Bromley/Uko. If we could get one of them day 3 that would be good but day two might be a little high for either one with so may quality players in this draft. I could see Sutton in the 3rd, 4th would be a gift. I would love to see something like…

    Ealy
    Crichton
    G/OT
    Sutton
