With the 16th pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected Zack Martin, a versatile offensive guard and tackle from Notre Dame. Johnny Manziel was still on the board and so was Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, but the Cowboys elected to make the smart decision and draft an NFL-ready player in Martin. By selecting Martin, the Cowboys drafted an offensive linemen for the third time in the past four years. Let’s take a more in-depth look at Martin and how he will impact the Cowboys moving forward.
