The Dallas Cowboys entered Day 2 of the 2014 NFL Draft with holes across the defense after picking offensive linemen Zack Martin in the first round. Fortunately for the Cowboys, first-round talents such as Demarcus Lawrence, Kony Ealy, and Timmy Jernigan were still on the board. That being said, the Cowboys saw their guy in Lawrence and they paid a hefty price to move up and draft him. It costed them a second- and third-round pick, but the Cowboys believe that Lawrence has a ton of potential to do special things. Rumors swirled last week that Anthony Spencer may start the season on the PUP list and that means Lawrence will likely start across from George Selvie. Let’s take a more in-depth look at Lawrence and how he will impact the Cowboys moving forward.
