Projecting Dez Bryant's 2014 Season

Dez Bryant has flourished in the past two years for the Dallas Cowboys and there is reason to believe that Bryant could be even better in 2014. Miles Austin was not a reliable target opposite of Bryant and that led to more double teams to Bryant’s side. With Terrance Williams taking over the No. 2 receiver spot opposite of Bryant, defenses will have to compensate for both sides and that could open up the field Bryant and give him more space to work with.

Tony Romo will be in for a big 2014 season with a better offensive line in front of him. This will give Romo more time in the pocket to go through his reads. That will help Bryant tremendously as it will give him more time to break away from the defender covering him. Bryant can do it all. He can catch the deep ball. He can catch all the intermediate routes and he do special things with the football.

The days when Bryant was a drama-queen and a problem are gone now. Bryant is a mature player and he means a lot to this Cowboys locker room. Bryant sees himself as a leader and when you thinking about it, he really is considering he is one of the oldest and most experienced players on this offense. Bryant has said how he would like to score 20 touchdowns. When you take in count this offensive line and the player around him, Bryant could honestly capture that feat. Bryant will prove how good he is in 2014. Don’t be surprised to see a ton of x’s thrown up either.
