Live Stream: Cowboys vs Dolphins (Preseason Live)

If you had to pick the most important game of the preseason you would no-doubt choose the third one. The third preseason game traditionally offers the most playing time to starters along with those legitimately on the bubble.

With the longshots shelved for another week, fans get to see a dress rehearsal for the regular season featuring players who may actually make the team. Tony Romo and the starting offense will play more than the previous two games combined.

Expect the Cowboys to test some bubble players against better talent too. RB Ryan Williams flashed against the scrubs last week so it will be interesting to see what he can do against some first teamers. If he can continue to impress, he may win the third HB spot and force the Cowboys to make a tough decision regarding Joseph Randle.

Zach Minter is another standout from last week who earned a chance to play against starters. He flashed well against the Ravens and may have a spot on this troubled defensive line if he can show it again. As a 3-tech DT he’s likely fighting for the same roster spot as Davon Coleman. Coleman is a fan and coach favorite but needs to keep performing if he wants to lock down a roster spot too.

It’s preseason so the score doesn’t matter but this game is of upmost importance for many players on the bubble.
