Word has it the Texans will try out Crick at NT. That seem a little undersize for the position. I dont doubt Wade will have and find a way to maximize Crick presence on the field. 19 Sacks is a great number at this level of football.

They say Crick may be the next JJ Watt. That a good comparrison considering he will be working right next to him. I think Wade Wilson and the Texans got one of the steal of the draft.

This was the guy i was eyeing with the Wilber pick. I know he had a bad senior year, and they say he may be a player without a position, He came off the board 1 pick later then Ronell Lewis. he went to the Houston Texans. I have read some articles, and they say he may be the best player who went in day number 3.
At 6'4", 280 pounds, Jared Crick is a bit of a tweener. Crick impressed during his time in Lincoln, though, and projected as an early-round pick.
As a sophomore and junior, Crick was extremely productive, racking up 19 sacks and 32 tackles for loss. As a senior, however, Crick struggled with injuries and failed to produce at a high level prior to a season-ending pectoral injury.

I also like this alternative to Wilber. It strange we never talk about this player until moments before the boys made the selection. When the boys were sitting there in the 4th with all this talent around them, I felt like the cat who was going to eat the canary. I though to myslef, there is no way JJ can possibly mess this one up. Even JJ can't be that dumb. I was wrong and in totals shock. JJ did it again, and he did it twice in rd 4. I wont discuss the player you discuss in your blog, but I will mention one that you had your eye on as well.
Ron Brooks - Louisiana State (HT: 5-10 - WT: 190) Positives -- Very good straight line speed, ran a 4.37-40 at the combine, second among cornerbacks only to UCF's Josh Robinson... Most of his collegiate experience comes from nickel and dime formations; makes plays from the inside and does a nice job covering slot receivers... Fluid hips with http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beSEqPaUZrk Read more at Sideline Scouting: http://sidelinescouting.com/rankings/2012/cb/ron-brooks/#ixzz1v4oulN6h

@osnappp007 if JJ was smart like the teams who let go the guys we signed he would have drafted an OG and a C instead of ST guys. He could have gotten better than he signed from other teams cuts.

Looking at FA all you see are old dallas players or washouts from other teams. The options now seem to be Nagy, Leary, or Arkin. Or a trade. I was really hoping Nagy would win the center job which would leave Arkin and Leary. I guess at this point everyone should really hope leary's knee is fine and he is a breakout player. Either way, i think the line will still be better this year mainly because i think vickers will have a big impact in protection. if more injuries happen, it's still early enough for a trade.
