Predicting who the Dallas Cowboys will draft is often one of the toughest tasks for me when writing an article. There are so many needs to fill and Jerry Jones could always switch it up and draft a guy I’ve never heard of. After scouting many players last year, I was on board with Sharrif Floyd when he fell to Dallas last year. Instead, the Cowboys drafted Travis Frederick. At the time, I was upset because Phil Costa wasn’t a bad center and this team had other holes to fill. Now one year later, Frederick was excellent in his rookie season and it looks like he will be a rock in Dallas for the long-term. That’s the beauty of the draft. In this article, I will give you my Cowboys 7-round mock draft with less than 100 hours until the draft. Without further ado, let’s get it started.

There is a zero percent chance Manziel will be there at 16.

You don’t draft a player who will sit on your bench for two years in the first round. You draft a player who will start day one of the season, If that player is a first rounder. I need to quit my job, and write dumb blogs, and think of out of the world scenarios, that make no sense, just so people will read them.

Aaron Rodgers sat for 3 seasons behind Favre. He was drafted in first round. Worked out for both he and the team.

Ryan no offense bro but the first two picks you have Dallas getting would not be a good start. If they drafted Johnny he would be holding a clipboard for a minimum of two years unless Romo got hurt. In Easely you have a guy who will be a part time player in an 8 to 9 man rotation. He also is a serious injury concern coming off of two knee surgeries. Dallas cannot afford to spend their first two picks on players who not see the field as an every down player.

Love the Martin pick in 4th and Freeman in 7th could be the steal of the draft. Nervous though about our top Defensive pick being so injury prone.

I stopped reading at draft pick number one. There will be a lot of writers who will be disappointed when their “dream boy” is not drafted. It’s a good thing they aren’t in charge of the draft although they probably couldn’t mess it up any worse than JJ.
