The Dallas Cowboys need to hit on this year’s draft. Here is their seven-round mock draft.

2014 was extremely kind to the Dallas Cowboys. Last season, the Cowboys reached a height they haven’t been at in what feels like centuries. If it weren’t for a no-catch and a horrible rule, who knows, maybe the Cowboys would’ve actually gone on to win the Super Bowl. Sure it’s far-fetched, but it’s not that crazy to believe. When a team is trying to transition into a Super Bowl contender, it must make smart decisions. Despite losing DeMarco Murray, Bruce Carter, and Justin Durant this offseason, the Cowboys made smart decisions. These decisions will help them in the future, as they look to make that Super Bowl run.

Mock drafts are extremely premature at any stage in the offseason, but that doesn’t they’re not fun to do. I did a mock draft a couple of weeks ago and I will probably do a few more before the draft. However, a bet could be made that none of my picks will be the Cowboys’ picks when the draft actually rolls around. Regardless, in this article, I do my best to give the best Cowboys’ mock draft yet. Without further ado, using Matt Miller‘s big board, I make my seven-round predictions for the Cowboys.
