4th (from Chiefs) DT Jay Bromley – Syracuse
Bromley is the guy I will be keeping my eye on the most this coming May. After impressing in the East-West Shrine Game, some folks had him going as high as the second round. If he slips to the 4th, Jerry needs to make the pick as soon as the clock starts.
A terror in the ACC, Bromley amassed 10 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss. Standing tall at 6’4 and pushing 300lbs, the Jamaica, Queens product served as Team Captain for the Orange. A quick look at some tape will reveal phenomenal lateral quickness – perfect for applying pressure on the QB and switching gears to wrap a RB. Interestingly, his game can be compared to Pitt’s Aaron Donald. Once again, if he’s here in the 4th round, the Cowboys must select him.
