5th OT Cameron Fleming – Stanford
If we wait this long to draft an offensive lineman, we are not likely to get a player who could excel immediately. Still, there may be some clever plays. One such idea is to draft a player like Fleming who made a career starting at Right Tackle for the Stanford Trees. He’s known for producing consistently and pushing blockers effectively. Somewhat undersized, he may be asked to become a Guard in the NFL. Really, he would make an ideal pick for the Cowboys, who are probably looking for Doug Free’s eventual replacement, and are still nervous about Mackenzy Bernadeau. Fleming could instill some confidence on both questions.
