7th (from Chiefs) QB Jordan Lynch – Northern Illinois

When you have the career that Jordan Lynch had for Northern Illinois, you deserve to be drafted.  After running for almost 2,000 yards and 23 touchdowns, he finished third in Heisman voting.  Many scouts were unsure if he would even be considered a Quarterback going into the NFL (a Tim Tebow situation), but the East-West Shrine Game showed that his passing game has potential.

The bottom line is that the Cowboys would be happy to get a young arm behind Tony Romo and Kyle Orton – and a project player like Jordan Lynch isn’t a bad idea.  He won’t be the only QB invited to camp, and he may not make it out.  Still, he’s worth a 7th round flyer.  Plus, I’m sure many in Dallas are salivating at the idea of experimenting with a Quarterback who could run like Russell Wilson and co.
