Round 4
DE Demarcus Lawrence Boise State
I love this guy and was thrilled to see him available still in the 4th round. He’s another high potential draft pick that could go anywhere between the 2nd and 4th round. . At 6’3″ 245 Lawrence slips through the cracks as a possible “tweener” and could effectively play OLB or DE. What’s clear is he thrives in a pass-rushing role, and as a student of the “art”, he has developed a nice variety of pass-rush moves.
It’s worrisome the Cowboys have not addressed the middle of the line yet but Rome wasn’t built in a day. The Cowboys can’t draft on needs alone and neither will I. Besides, I have a couple Sleeper picks at DT I’m still following and should be able to get on soon.
