Round 2, Pick 47: Allen Robinson, Wide Receiver, Penn State
Allen Robinson was one of the most productive wide receivers in college football last year. He was exceptional speed, and he has great hands. He has a future in the league as a strong possession receiver. He also has ideal speed, and he will only be 21 when the 2014 season rolls around. Robinson could very well go before Dallas’ selection, but his route-running needs a ton of work. I have the Cowboys picking a receiver early because I don’t see Jerry Jones passing on offensive players until late in the draft. While many Cowboy fans want to see the Cowboys draft around five defensive players, there still are holes on the offense that need fixing. Drafting Robinson would give Tony Romo another weapon in the offense. The ex-Nittany Lion could line up opposite of Dez Bryant in 2014, and Terrance Williams. could play in the slot.
