Round 7, Pick 208: Michael Schofield, Offensive Tackle, Michigan
I love players that has the flexibility to play guard and tackle. Schofield has experience at the tackle position from his days in college. But at the Senior Bowl, Schofield was moved inside to play guard. Many project that his game will be more improved if he becomes a guard. At 6’6″, 304 pounds, Schofield has perfect size to play four positions on the offensive line. The Cowboys could use an upgrade at the right guard position, and Doug Free is very inconsistent. Even if Schofield never starts in Dallas, he is still a valuable backup in the trenches. The Cowboys would benefit greatly by getting a guy this late that played college football in the Big Ten.
