3rd Round – Jarvis Landry, LSU
Top recruit out of high school Travis Landry could be seen making play after play for LSU. At only 5’11, one may think that his role in the NFL should be as a slot receiver. I urge you, however, to look at guys like Wes Welker and Steve Smith. We have all seen what explosiveness and a good understanding of the game can do for a player, especially a small wide out. Though he needs some polishing and time in the weight room Landry continues to look like an NFL-caliber player, constantly displaying top effort and natural strength.
