2nd Round: Scott Crichton, Defensive End, Oregon State
Perhaps this is the guy that no one is talking about. Scott Crichton has flown under-the-radar throughout the draft process. I strongly believe he could be one of those players that a team falls in love with at the end of the first round. Scheme versatility is something that Crichton excels in. He is a bit small, but he plays bigger than he actually is. I also believe he is one of the fastest pass rushers in this draft off the edge. Not only do the Cowboys need starters, but they need depth too on the defensive line. Crichton could come in day one and be a starter. Crichton has the ability to be something really special in the NFL, and I don’t see why it couldn’t be in Dallas. Rod Marinelli is one of the best defensive coaches in all of football, and he would be licking his chops if to get a player of Crichton’s talent.
