7th Round, Pick Two: Preston Brown, Linebacker, Louisville
Sean Lee and Bruce Carter have had trouble staying healthy since the day they were drafted by Dallas. When the two missed time this year, the Cowboys had to rely on the likes of Cameron Lawrence and Ernie Sims to man two of the linebacker positions. That must improve going forward if Dallas wants to have success. I fully believe that DeVonte Holloman will be a starting linebacker by 2015. Knowing this, Preston Brown could be a quality depth guy for the Cowboys. He can also play special teams, which is something head coach Jason Garrett would love. Brown also played on the best defense in all of college football, according to CBSSports.com.
