Brock is a natural defensive back. He plays fluidly, low to the ground, and has quick change of direction. All things you look for when searching for a DB. If the name sounds familiar it’s because his brother Shane plays for the Pats. This marks the 3rd player drafted by the Cowboys that has NFL bloodlines.
Vereen is thought of as a dedicated and extremely intelligent player by his coaches. He is a leader on the field and can line up a defense much like Ed Reynolds (drafted in the 3rd). Brock is best suited for zone coverage and can easily plug in and play a Tampa 2, Cover 2, or Cover 3 Defense.
