7th Round (3)
OT Justin Britt
6’6” 325lbs
Justin Britt is too tempting to pass up assuming he passes all physical tests (Recovering from ACL surgery). The only reason Britt is projected to fall this far is because of injuries. Britt has the size and speed to play both tackle spots and would be a perfect fit as a swing tackle for the Cowboys for the foreseeable future.
If healthy, Britt could even challenge Doug Free in 2015 along with the previously drafted, Antonio Richardson. He has played excellent football against the SEC’s best and has been an anchor for the Tigers.
He is tall and well-built. He’s quick on his feet and has a powerful first punch. He’s not as mean and dirty as you’d like in an OL but he has all of the ability.
