Round Seven, First Selection: Dexter McDougle, Cornerback, Maryland
His injuries in college are very concerning, but Dexter McDougle may be the best cover-corner in this draft. McDougle is great on film, but it’s a small sample size because of all his injuries. The Cowboys have three capable cornerbacks in Brandon Carr, Orlando Scandrick, and Morris Claiborne, but there were times in 2013 where Carr and Claiborne were subpar. Adding another cornerback would be a smart idea.
