7th Round (4)

FB J.C. Copeland

LSU

5’11” 271

Copeland doesn’t exactly match what the Cowboys are trying to build in Dallas. The Cowboys are still fully invested in the 2 and 3 TE offense and do not desire the addition of a traditional FB. They would much rather add an H-Back with TE/FB versatility. Copeland is not versatile.

I am fully onboard with adding a beastly lead blocker like Copeland to the Cowboys.. J.C. is wrecking ball in Nikes. He can lead block and he can carry the ball. He’s a perfect short yardage back – just don’t ask him to catch.

Copeland is known to play angry and will be a nightmare to opposing defenses. He plays a little recklessly on the field but is known to be a compassionate person off the field. He’s a good teammate and a feared opponent.

A QB next …..
