DE/OLB Jackson Jeffcoat
Texas

The same player I reached on in the second round last draft, fell to me in the 3rd round. As previously stated in the 2nd round, all the top pass-rushers were off the board long ago.
Word is, the Cowboys really like Jackson and think he could be an immediate contributor to this team in a major area of need.
Jeffcoat may be a tweener without a true position but the local product (and son of Jim Jeffcoat) provides solid pass-rush skills and there’s always room for a pass-rusher.
Jackson is smaller than you’d like but he has a strong motor, quickness, speed, and proven track record. He will need to add weight and a few new pass-rush moves but should be at least a solid situational pass-rusher from day one.
