7th Round (2)
WR Jeff Janis
Saginaw Valley
6’3” 219 lbs
Jeff Janis is a big strong receiver who dominated at the lower ranks. He had consecutive seasons with over 1500 receiving yards in 2012 and 2013. He also totaled 31TDs in just 2 years. He is known to have an excellent work ethic in the film room, weight room, and practice field. He has high character and is a team leader.
While he tracks the ball well he doesn’t always make a clean catch. Sometimes he bobbles and makes a catch harder than it has to be. He has highlight reel catches and can line up at all (X, Y, & Z) receiver spots which is something the Cowboys desperately need since Beasley and Harris are only effective from the slot.
A Dark-horse pass-rusher next in round 7…
