Round 7e: Connor Shaw, Quarterback, South Carolina
While all of the Johnny Manziel to Dallas rumors could be true, I still don’t see them passing up on a defensive player in the first round. Connor Shaw was a successful college quarterback and he has the mindset you want in an NFL quarterback. Dallas signed Brandon Weeden and Caleb Hanie in free agency, but they should still look to add a quarterback next week. Shaw has a nice track record and he could learn a lot behind Romo and Kyle Orton.
