Round 4: Terrence Brooks, Free Safety, Florida State
Safety isn’t as big of a need as many think. While Ha Ha Clinton-Dix or Calvin Pryor would probably be an upgrade over J.J. Wilcox, it should be worth noting that Wilcox did not finish training camp last year because he went back to Georgia to visit his ailing mother. Also, safeties are at their best when their defensive line is getting pressure on the quarterback. With all of their injuries across the defensive line last year, the Cowboys had a ton of problems in their secondary. Drafting a player like Terrence Brooks would bring great competition nonetheless.
