Dallas Cowboys 7-Round Mock Draft: Surprise, Here’s Johnny

While I do believe the Cowboys should add a safety in the draft, I think they should wait until the later rounds to draft a safety. Last season, J.J. Wilcox showed glimpses of being a real good safety in the NFL. Wilcox started playing the safety position in his junior year of college, so he is still relatively new to the position. He also missed part of training camp last year to visit his ailing mother in Georgia. The Cowboys need to give Wilcox a second chance to prove his worth. Kenny Ladler would bring some nice competition.
