Round 1: Johnny Manziel, Quarterback, Texas A&M
Before you exit this article with disgust, hear me out. Johnny Manziel is the marketable prospect in this draft and it shouldn’t come as a surprise if the Cowboys draft the former Texas A&M Aggie in the first round. Another thing to remember is that Tony Romo is 34 years old and he has already had two major back surgeries. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to draft the quarterback of the future in this draft and Manziel to Dallas just makes too much sense. Manziel even said that he was born at halftime of a Cowboys game. Good sources such as Peter King and Jim Nantz have said how Dallas will do anything it takes to land Manziel. Even though the Cowboys have to upgrade their defense, Manziel could be wearing a star on his helmet in 2014. Here’s Johnny. Gig ’em.
