Corey Linsley, G/C, Ohio St. – So why is Linsley in the 7th round? Because is is projected as a center. As a center is too patient at the point of attack and not quite big enough to be a quality center, he is 6’3” 293 lbs. Now why on earth would I take him here? well because he actually projects better as a guard. He plays with quick hips and has great leverage. He is quite good at sliding along the line and absorbs impact quite well. I think he could contend for a guard position with a little work there.

Linsley is a sneaky pick and moving him to guard actually ups his stock quite a bit. If the Cowboys are smart and he is there they will take a hard look. In the simulation he was there near the top and as a guard most certainly worth the flier.
