Jeoffrey Pagan, DE, Alabama – This guy is Marcus Spears 2.0. He is built almost the same, has about the same pass rush ability, but also has the same upside and run stopping ability. He has been on special teams and blocked some field goals, and would be a fine fit for a rotational or situational player on the line. What I think I like about him the most however is this guy can spot the ball quickly and has the patience to wait for the right angle and the right hit. The thing that worries me about him is if he can’t develop any pass rush, he really is just a run stopper and special teamer.
At this point in the draft it is difficult to find people you can use in a ton of different ways. I do think Pagan is a little better than a 7th round grade so I took him instead of Cassius Marsh from UCLA.
