Trey Millard – FB, Oklahoma – Millard is an H-back, which means he can play TE and FB. This is the only way the Cowboys will get a FB on the team. Millard was actually recruited as a LB and TE coming out of HS. He has pretty good hands and while his running is not something that will set the world on fire as a catcher and lead blocker he would be a fine pickup in the 7th round. He needs to work on his blocking and there are some injury concerns, but hey not a bad pickup no matter what.
Again at this point I am filling some holes and looking for backups or special teamers. I am also looking for guys that maybe could grow into a starter or be used in certain situations. This pick came down to Millard and the next guy.
