Round 7c. Damien Williams, Running Back, Oklahoma

DeMarco Murray stayed healthy for 14 games last year. When healthy, Murray is one of the best running backs in the NFL. He has a big impact in the running game and in the passing game. If Murray gets injured, I’m not excited about the players behind him. I’m a big fan of Lance Dunbar, but he can never stay healthy either. Joseph Randle is a small back who also is slow too. The need is there for the Cowboys to draft a running back in the later rounds. Damien Williams is an intriguing player to me because his game complements Murray’s so well. People believe De’Anthony Thomas and Dri Archer are the best offensive weapons in this draft, but I believe Williams has the ability to be a game-breaker.
