Round 4: Paul Richardson, Wide Receiver, Colorado

In any other draft, Paul Richardson would likely be a late second-round pick. This year’s receiver class is extremely deep and that has hurt Richardson’s draft stock. At 6’1″, 175 pounds, Richardson has the frame to put on bulk and he will need to do so to get off the line of scrimmage in the NFL. Richardson is a playmaker, as is the case by his 4.33 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. It should also be noted that he has long arms at 34″. Richardson is one of the best route-runners in this draft and he is explosive as any. Tony Romo could benefit greatly by another target in Richardson. The Cowboys met with the Colorado product and it is clear that he is on their board.
