Round 5: Dion Bailey, Free Safety, USC

Stephen Jones said that the Cowboys weren’t going to use a high draft pick on a safety, but that hasn’t stopped many draft experts mocking Ha Ha Clinton-Dix or Calvin Pryor to the Cowboys in the first round. Instead of bypassing the defensive line in the first few rounds, the Cowboys should wait until the later rounds to draft a free safety. J.J. Wilcox is still relatively new to the free safety position and he should get a second chance to prove his worth in 2014. Dion Bailey out of USC would be a nice addition because he has the true ability to be a center-fielder in the NFL. Just don’t ask him to come in the running game and make a play in the backfield.
