5 free agents the Dallas Cowboys need to sign

With the Cowboys letting DeMarco Murray test free agency, it has to be said that the team is bracing for him to not be a Cowboy in 2015. Granted, the Cowboys have three capable running backs who can play in a running back committee in Joseph Randle, Lance Dunbar, and Ryan Williams. Despite that, the Cowboys will likely add another running back this offseason. Whether that addition will come through the draft or through free agency is yet to be seen, but one player that makes a ton of sense at a cheap price is Pierre Thomas.
He played in a committee with the New Orleans Saints, where he was mainly used as a guy who would carry the football around 12 times a game as well as be a weapon out of backfield in the passing game. Tony Romo could use another weapon in the passing game and Thomas is a matchup-problem. Considering Dallas’ committee would be young, having a veteran in the group like Thomas would help this unit as a whole.
