CB. Connecticut. Byron Jones. 1. player. 123.
The two biggest needs to me for the Cowboys come at the cornerback position and the running back position, and is the case by their number of pre-draft visits, it’s almost for sure that the Cowboys will come out of Round 2 with a new cornerback and a new running back. However, there are more talented running backs than there are talented cornerbacks. This is why I have the Cowboys selecting a cornerback in the first round of the draft.

Out of Connecticut, Byron Jones wasn’t really a house-hold name at the start of the draft process. However, no player saw his stock rise more after the combine than Jones. The broad jump event really made Jones a household name, however, he turned heads in every event he participated in. This made scouts go back and take a second look at Jones’ game tape, and one of those teams that took a special interest was, of course, the Cowboys.
<blockquote class=
