More interestingly, the Cowboys’ liken with Mannion dates back much farther than this year. Jason Garrett‘s brother was Mannion’s quarterback last year at Oregon State.

What the Cowboys like out of Mannion is his frame at 6-foot-6, 230 pounds, and his recognition with an pro-style offense, which is the offense he ran under Mike Riley in college. I’m not a fan of the Cowboys drafting a quarterback in this year’s draft, but if they are to draft Mannion, this will be the likely landing spot on where it will happen.
