When Sean Lee tore his ACL in OTAs last year, the Cowboys were without an inside linebacker. That said, the Cowboys would call up the Baltimore Ravens and make a trade for a trouble, yet talented linebacker in Rolando McClain. When he was healthy in 2014, the Cowboys’ defense was significantly better. In fact, McClain was so important to the Cowboys’ defense that an argument could be made that he was the best defensive player on the roster last year.

As of now, the Cowboys do not own a sixth-round pick, but if they do trade back at the some point in the draft, picking up a sixth-round pick would be ideal, as it would give the Cowboys a pick in each round and more leverage if they were to make another trade.
