2. The comeback, game two vs. Miami Heat: Dwyane Wade hit a three from the corner. Right in front of the Mavs bench. He left the follow through up for a little bit to milk it, while LeBron came over to celebrate with him. Up 1-0 in the series and now up 15 points with 7:14 in game two, the Miami Heat and their faithful went nuts. Meanwhile, Dallas fans were trying to figure out how to beat what looked like a juggernaut.
But, slowly the Mavs started to chip away. After blowing a big lead in game four of the first round against the Portland Trailblazers, Dallas executed big fourth quarter comebacks in game one of the Lakers series and game four of the Thunder series. Soon enough, Nowitzki scored on a fast break layup to tie the game at 90-90, and then hit a big three to put Dallas up 93-90. But, a defensive lapse on the other end led to a Mario Chalmers three-pointer to tie the game yet again.
With 24.5 seconds left, the Mavs had a chance to win the game, and Dirk delivered to tie the Finals up at 1-1 going back to Dallas for three games.
