Robin Lopez
Robin Lopez has quietly built one hell of a career. The Portland Trailblazers’ teammate favorite and fan favorite, has built a reputation for doing the dirty work. Lopez has provided the perfect environment for PF LaMarcus Aldridge to thrive. While Aldridge uses an athletic game, Lopez has banged hard down low.
Last season, Robin Lopez averaged 9.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game. Considering most shot opportunities and rebounds were deferred to Aldridge, those are good numbers for a player uninterested in stats.
The Blazers have every intention of locking down Lopez long term and the Mavs will have to put together quite the pitch (and more money) to lure him out of the Pacific Northwest. He’s certainly not a max contract guy but at age 27, he’s looking to make this deal his big one.
Chance of signing Robin Lopez: 15%
